Lukashenka asks Putin to return Slutsk sashes to Belarus
Belarus keeps negotiating with Russia about the return of historical and cultural valuables.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka claimed it at a meeting with students in Mahilyou State University on Thursday.
He talked about the return of Slutsk sashes with Vladimir Putin. They were taken away from Belarus before and during the war.
"The negotiations are difficult,” BelTA quotes Alyaksandr Lukashenka. “I think that we will solve this problem and the valuables will be returned.”
A production line for Slutsks sashes is being created in Belarus, Lukashenka reminded. “Those will be real Slutsk sashes made using the technology of that time,” the President said.
