Mass riots in Moscow: 380 detained (photo, video)

About 380 people were detained during the mass riots in South Moscow, where several hundred citizens held a protest action on Sunday. The action ended up in clashes with the riot police, informs the ВВС Russian service.

"The police are actively arresting those who violate the public order in the South district of Moscow. 380 people have been detained by now, the work is in progress," RIA Novosti quotes a representative of the Moscow police's press-office. 

Mass disturbances have also been recorded in the North-West of Moscow - 60 participants thereof have been detained by police. The police operation in Biryulyovo continues - all the roads to this district from the Warsaw lane have been blocked.

The disturbances in the Moscow district Biryulyovo started at day-time on October 13. About 600 people took the local shopping center "Biryuza', where migrants often get together, by storm.

The participants of the disturbances demanded the authorities should find the murderer of 25-year-old Egor Scherbakov, killed on Wednesday night with a knife right in the eyes of his girlfriend. According to the girl, the attacker who cut Egor with a knife several times was probably a native of Caucasus or Central Asia.
