Monument to heroes of 1863 rebellion secretly erected in Belarus (photo)
Its precise location has not been revealed yet.
It has been informed that the monument was erected somewhere in the Western Belarus, most likely, in Hrodna region. Creation and erecting of the monument were kept in secret. The monument was created back in Autumn, but its first pictures were published only now.
According to Belarusian Partisan, it was a very expensive project. This is the first monument to the 1863 rebels in Belarus. The location of the monument is kept in secret till the official opening ceremony, so that the authorities had less opportunities to destroy it.
