Official unemployment rate doubled in Belarus in 2015
43.3 thousand people were officially unemployed at the end of 2015. The unemployment rate reached 1%, BelaPAN refers to the National Statistic Committee.
4 million 470 thousand people were employed in December 2015.
The number of the officially unemployed totalled 24.2 thousand people at the end of 2014. The unemployment rate was 0.5%. The same rate was registered at the end of 2013.
Thus, the official unemployment rate has doubled in a year.
