People detained for commemorating Mihail Zhyzneuski in Minsk
The riot police attacked people when they were leaving.
Several dozen people, namely young members of Alternative and the Movement of Solidarity Razam approached the building of the Ukrainian Embassy with portraits of the Belarusian protester killed in Kiev. They also visited Taras Shevchenko monument nearby.
They sang the anthem Powerful God. The riot police caught them when they were leaving. At least 10 people were detained, a witness told Nasha Niva.
Illya Dabratvor, Mihail Mikulich, Dzmitry Silchanka, Iryna Vyatkina and Aleh Kirol are among the arrested. They have been delivered to Minsk Central District department of the Interior.
