Pope Francis’ relatives killed in car crash
His nephew’s wife and two children have died.
The Pope’s nephew, Emmaneul Bergoglio, was seriously injured but survived, BBC reports. The incident occurred in Cordova Province on Tuesday morning. The pontiff is grieving in connection with the tragedy, his representative Francesco Lombardi said. Jorge Mario Bergoglio used to be an Argentinean cardinal before being elected Pope Francis.
