Rector of state educational establishment faces criminal charges
The case was started against the rector of the state institute of advanced training and preparation of administrative officials and specialists.
Nalallia Karalyova is charged with "major stealing committed by the way of power abuse". She faces up to 10 years of imprisonment with property confiscation.
According to Ejednevnik, the preliminary information is that the rector is suspected in stealing about 35 million roubles from the educational establishment. For this, she used the system of fake employment. Her friend was employed as a marketing specialist for nearly 2 years but never appeared at work and didn't fulfill her professional duties. Still, she regularly received salary, which was probably defrauded by the rector.
