Controversial judge named for Alyaksandr Varlamau's trial
Nadzeya Navitskaya will preside the trial of Belarus' famous fashion designer.
Minsk Lenin District Court has informed Euroradio about it.
Nadzeya Navitskaya is notorious for judging opposition activists. She sentenced Mikola Dzemidzenka, Ales Byalyatski and Valyantsin Stefanovich to arrests and fines.
Alyaksandr Varlamau is accused of major fraud , power abuse, tax evasion and misappropriation.
The fashion designer has already spent 1.5 years in jail.
