Homel inhabitant gets 30 days of detention for silent actions
This is the sentence to Ruslan Ustsimenka for two silent actions.
The court considered the youngster guilty of bad swearing and sentenced him to 15 days of detention on July 4. Ustsimenka was detained on July 2, before another silent action of protest. Policemen claimed they had received an unknown person's complaint, who then left.
Ustsimenka was delivered to the court from the detention center on July 7, reports BelaPAN. The court considered the administrative case for June 29 silent action. Previously, the trial had been postponed as they wanted to summon witnesses. This time, the trial was a closed one, even Ruslan's mother was not admitted. It became known after the trial that they had considered Ustsimenka guilty of bad swearing and sentenced him to 15 days of detention. Thus, the youngster will spend 30 days in the detention center altogether.
When the youngster was convoyed out of the judge's office, his friends greeted him with applause.
