Honduras knocks Spain out of Olympics football tournament (video)
The current world and European champions have lost the second game in a row – 0:1, thus losing all chances to make it to the next round of the tournament.
Honduras scored already at the 7th minute of the game. Bengtson outran the defender and hit De Gea’s goal with a strong header. The Spaniards were trying to equalize for nearly 90 minutes but Fate wasn’t with them.
Japan leads Group D with 6 points after two games. Honduras has 4 points – they have secured at least the second place. The Spaniards have 0 points and one game with Morocco in hand, which does not have any significance now – both teams are out of the Olympics!
