Yarmoshyna’s vacations – under guard in Drazdy
She does receive guests, but you need a permit.
The head of the Central Election Commission, Lidziya Yarmoshyna, is not spending her summer vacations in Paris, the place she dreams of. She is in Belarus, namely – in Drazdy. Mikalai Lazavik, CEC secretary, has informed Euroradio about it.
Mikalai Lazavik: “Lidziya Mihailauna in spending vacations at home, in Belarus, and she recives guests”.
However, only the guests she would like to meet can visit her in Drazdy – inhabitants of the elite place should send a permit for every visitor to security guards. Lazavik has warned that a Euroradio reporter should not expect to be able to receive an invitation.
Mikalai Lazavik: “You will not be allowed to pass – you need a permit. She can invite you and ask to let you pass. But you need to be a guest she would like to meet! If you come, you will collect flees and midges and smear them all over the page!”.
The secretary of the Central Election Commission will go on leave at the end of August. He says that he will spend his vacations in the village of Tulyonka, Stoubtsy District.
Mikalai Lazavik: “I have a house there. It is an ordinary country house with a stove, a toilet outside and a well. There is a river and a forest and you can find peace of mind there”.
He has also noted that he has never wished to spend vacations at the seaside or abroad. He has seen the Black Sea only once – when he brought his daughter to cure the antritis there.
