Reports: EU may prolong Russia sanctions for 6 months
The sanctions may be prolonged by the end of January 2016.
The European Union is planning to prolong Russia sanctions until the end of January. It may be done within the next few weeks, The Wall Street Journal refers to European diplomats.
The decision to prolong the sanctions (including the economic ones) has not been discussed in the EU formally yet. However, Brussels believes that the EU member states would like to preserve their pressure exercised on Russia until Moscow fulfills Minsk Agreements, interfax.by refers to WSJ.
