Russian ruble down to 41 per US dollar
The Russian ruble hits a new record low of 41 versus US dollar.
The dollar costs 41.01 Russian roubles now, the euro has gone up by 13 kopecks – 51.96 Russian roubles, RIA Novosti reports.
The dollar has reached the psychological barrier due to the foreign currency deficit in a situation of a restricted access to western resources and due to the rapid decrease of oil prices, Reuters notes.
