Ukrainian opposition plans to block Cabinet of Ministers
About 500 protesters are chanting near the Cabinet on Thursday night.
According to UNIAN, a demonstration started near the governmental building at about 8 a.m., Kyiv time. A column of activists came there from the Maidan of Independence.
The protesters plan to block the building of the Cabinet of Ministers from the side of Lyuteranska Street during the day. Berkut fighters kept duty there for the whole night, the approaches to the nearest houses are blocked by trucks and buses.
Apart from that, the Euromaidan participants wanted to block the building of the Presidential Administration from the side of Bankova Street. However, about 50 fighters of the Interior Ministry's internal troops stood in their way.
