30 Chinese migrant workers detained near Hrodna
Illegals from Asia arrived at the construction site of the waste processing plant near the village of Tumashy, Hrodna region.
A large group of illegal immigrants from China - 30 people - has been detained near Hrodna. The law breakers were uncovered by the police during a special operation called "Illegal", which took place from 12 to 15 May, Hrodna site Perspektyva reports.
The citizens of China, as was noted by the inspector of citizenship and migration department of the Hrodna police department, Viktoryia Fyadotova, had on them a work permit valid on the territory of Belarus, but not registered during a certain period. All of them were given a fine.
Among other offenders were seven citizens of Ukraine, five Russians and one citizen of Uzbekistan.
