Belarus to reduce customs registration time to 30 minutes
Belarus is going to make the procedure of the preliminary avowal of goods close to those in the neighboring countries. The head of the department of customs control organization Syarhey Barysyuk informed about it.
According to him the preliminary avowal will reduce the time of customs registration from 3-6 hours to 30 minutes. Barysyuk noted that 80% of all transit transportation across Belarus is performed by foreign organizations.
They spend a lot of time in queues. Belarus has already implemented projects of information exchange on preliminary avowal with Russia.
A similar project is being discussed with Ukraine. The issue of informational cooperation with other countries has not been settled yet.
