"I saw my husband in the KGB disciplinary cell; he was enchained there for several hours, on a chain. We didn't even know before that there was a disciplinary cell in the KGB prison", - Volha Bandarenka told about the horrors of prison to the Estonian audience.
The
mother of the "Young Front" activist Edward Lobau saw him in prison
in the middle of October. She says he does not complain about the health. He
joked that the conditions in the military where he had served before, hadn't
been any better.
Maryna Lobava:
"He said he was not going to sign anything, it's better to serve all 4
years if necessary, until the next election. Naturally, this is difficult but I
wouldn’t go for a compromise with my own conscience, I wouldn't suggest him to
file a request for pardon - there's nothing to be pardoned!"
Mikita Likhavid's mother is the happiest lady among the three of them - her son
has already been released. Mikita is recuperating; he goes in for sports and
plans to visit Germany upon the invitation of a Bundestag member. He is also
trying to reinstate in the Institute of Administration.
Alena Likhavid: "However, will they dare
to reinstate him?... As Mikita says, I managed to cope with the head of the colony;
I will manage to cope with the Dean as well".
The exhibition will stay in the museum for several months. The identical
exhibition will be opened in the European Parliament on December 7.
