Foreign minister promises human rights reform

Belarus will be working on reform in the area of democracy, civic society, freedom of non-governmental organizations, the rule of law and human rights, Foreign Minister Syarhey Martynau told Agence Europe, BelTA reported.
Martynau said that the EU expects stability and well-being from its partners, noting that the Eastern Partnership program is based on these principles. Belarus is ahead of the other five partners as far as these criteria are concerned, he said.
