Greens urge Lukashenka to give political asylum to Snowden
The ex-CIA employee is hiding from the U.S. authorities now.
The American special services are persecuting Snowden for revealing facts of watching Americans’ e-mail correspondence for 10 years, the Greens said.
"This deed testifies to Snowden’s high moral qualities as he fulfilled his civil duty by demanding that the movement should respect citizens’ constitutional rights,” the Greens insist.
They think that giving political asylum to Snowden in Belarus would be “a generous act of support of a decent and honest man and will prove that Belarus’ international policy is based on ethic principles, BelaPAN reports.
