Interior Ministry:Interpol issued warrants against BPC managers in 2 hours
Head of the Interior Ministry's Department for Information and PR Kanstantsin Shalkevich has said this.
According to him, interfax.by quotes, the fact that Interpol issued an international warrant against four top-managers of the Belarusian Potash Company confirms that the Belarusian law-enforcement authorities are doing the right thing.
Shalkevich has noted that Interpol is always very careful about such enquiries, often rejects them. However, in case of Oleg Petrov, Konstantin Solodovnikov, Igor Evstratov, Dmitry Samoilov the decision was taken in two hours.
The Belarusian side accuses the BPC top managers of having abused the official powers in the Belarusian Potash Company. The damage caused by their possible illegal actions to Belkali and BPC is estimated as $ 100 million. Uralkali denies these accusations.
