Lukashenka: Belarus is affected by Ukrainian crisis
The current geopolitical situation is directly affecting Belarus, Alyaksandr Lukashenka announced.
“Our country is affected by the crisis in Ukraine. We know the stage directors and real participants of the Ukrainian coup and the war that was started afterwards.”
Radical nationalist groupings are actively trying to divide spheres of influence in business, the President stressed. The crime rate is going up and the distribution of weapons is becoming uncontrollable. Attempts to bring weapons to our territory have also been registered.
At the same time, Belarus needs to preserve balance in relations with Moscow and Kiev.
Kiev’s intention to confront Moscow supported from abroad is very alarming, the President said.
“It is essential that we preserved balance in the diplomatic relations with Kiev and Moscow. We must not be involved in their confrontation in any case,” BELTA quotes Lukashenka.
