Mahilyou officials have not allowed organizing ‘Winners’ March’ in Lenin Square on October 11.
The place is not suitable for mass events, officials explained. Such events can only be held in the stadium Himik in Chalyuskintsau Street situated in the outskirts of the city.
Civil activist Alyaksei Paulouski applied for the march. 144 people signed in his support. “It is clear who will win so the victory should be celebrated with a march in the central street of the city,” Paulouski believes.
