Makei meets with top Western diplomats
Belarus foreign policy chief Uladzimir Makei meets high-ranking diplomats from the EU, US and Vatican.
According to the press-office of the Belarusian MFA, "the parties discussed a broad range of issues that concern condition and prospects of the development of relations between the Republic of Belarus and the said countries in bilateral and plurilateral formats."
Recently, the Belarusian Minister for Foreign Affairs met with Deputy US Secretary of State Eric Rubin in Minsk recently. Uladzimir Makei stated that Belarus wanted to improve the relations with the United States. Meanwhile, Alyaksandr Lukashenka said yesterday that Belarus had an intention to normalize relations with the EU member states.
