Man brings "extra" $20 thousand back to bank (video)
The Minsk City Police Department spokesman Alyaksandr Lastouski tells Euroradio the man has returned the money to the bank.
Alyaksandr Lastouski: "The man came to the bank himself. The fact that the video was shown on TV and on the Internet helped. He returned all the money."
The incident occulted in a Eurobank currency exchange office. The man wanted to convert $2300 into Belarusian roubles. But the teller gave him 10 times more money. The man took the money and left.
The mistake was discovered a few hours later. The bank admitted that the man neither would not bear any responsibility for it and that the teller would have to return the money if the worst came to worst.
