Ministry of Defense rebuffs speculations about 'disguised Russian soldiers' in Belarus army
Belarus defense ministry reacts to online media reports about three thousand Russian officers and men allegedly serving on the Belarusian territory.
They are said to be pilots, paratroopers, tank and air defense crews wearing the Belarusian army uniform in order not to reveal their Russian origin. The officers and men are under the Russian command, Charter97.org reports.
"This is a madman’s chattering," Belarusian Ministry of Defense spokesman Uladzimir Makarau told BelaPAN news agency.
