MP suggests small fee for polyclinic visits (video)
Member of Belarus Parliament Dzmitry Shautsou backs symbolic fees for every visit to a doctor as relief for the country's budget.
He supports Vice Prime Minister Anatol Tozik who said that citizens should pay something for medical treatment.
According to Shautsou, “free medicine” costs too much to the Belarusian state. That is why there should be at least some “small fee”. MPs are ready to make the corresponding amendments to the law if necessary, Dzmitry Shaoutsou told ONT TV channel when appearing in Contours weekday wrap-up program.
