Parliamenttary election: Registration of MP candidates begins in Belarus

The registration of candidates for the seats in the lower chamber of the National Assembly, the House of Representatives, on 8 October began in Belarus. 703 nominees, including 424 representing political parties, seek to register as candidates and run for 110 MP seats, the state TV channel Belarus 1 reports.
Candidates will be registered by the constituency election commissions until 17 October.
The parliamentary elections will take place in Belarus on 17 November 2019.
