Pension age not to increase for police colonels and policemen of higher ranks
The pension age will not increase for everyone. Policemen and villagers having the rank of colonel and higher will retire at the same age as now, the President’s decree #137 says. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has confirmed it: “Colonels and higher ranks will not be affected by the pension age increase.”
The pension age for lower military ranks will keep increasing by 6 months a year starting from January 3. The increase will total 3 years in the end.
