Polish government and opposition to discuss Belarus
Poland will organize a round table discussion at the beginning of 2014.
Polish PM Donald Dusk is going to suggested it to President Bronisław Komorowski, Polish mass media report. They will need to work out a general position of the main parties concerning a number of issues including Poland’s international relations with Belarus, Ukraine and Russia.
The round table discussion of the Ukrainian President and the opposition in Kiev spurred the initiative.
"Poland should stick to one position as regards Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. We can discuss it but we should stick to one policy,” Tusk claimed.
The Prime Minister is also going to discuss one more issue – consent on choosing Polish candidates for the higher positions in the EU.
