98,5% "Belaya Rus" candidates get into election commissions
As for the opposition, they got 24%.
Human rights defenders Valyantsin Stefanovich and Aleh Hulak has told this at a press-conference today.
"48 activists of the opposition were included into the district election commissions. These are 24% from the number of people that were nominated. The total share of the opposition candidates in the commission was 3,3%", — Stefanovich says.
According to Hulak, mostly members of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, "Belaya Rus", Belarusian Civil Association of Veterans and the Belarusian Trade Unions Federation were included into the commissions.
Let us remind you, the parliamentary election will take place on September 23. The electoral campaign starts on July 15.
