Ales Byalyatski packs police shoulder straps in colony
He has informed human rights defender Tatstsyana Ravyaka about it.
Furthermore, the political prisoner packs mittens, sheets, etc. in Babruisk colony #2, informs BelaPAN. According to Ravyaka, Byalyatski does not read much in colony now - he mainly reads the newspapers he is subscribed to and learns what is going on in the country from them.
Let us remind you that Byalyatski was sentenced to 4.5 years of imprisonment in a top-security colony and confiscation of property last November. He was returned guilty of major tax evasion. In reality, the money on his accounts in Lithuania and Poland was meant for human rights activities. The court did not pay attention to the fact that the losses said to have been caused by Byalyatski, had been compensated with the help of citizens' donations.
