BBC journalists announce 24-hours strike
The reason for this - mass lay-offs in the company.
More than 100 people were forced to leave the BBC world service and monitoring service for the last several months.
The trade union thinks that these lay-offs might have been avoided if the administration had not taken a "provocative decision" to refuse from further negotiations.
In the strikers' opinion, lay-offs should only be conducted by means of those people who agreed to discharge voluntarily, with payment of compensation.
