Belarusians’ trial to continue in Libya on June 4
Another hearing of the Belarusians, Russians and Ukrainians’ case has taken place this Monday.
The defense and prosecution has presented their arguments today. The prosecution sticks to its old point of view: the defendants are accused of cooperation with the Muammar Gaddafi regime. Representatives of the Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian Embassies attended the hearing on May 21, notes Interfax.by.
Let us remind you that Libyan insurgents detained 25 Belarusian citizens in August 2011. All of them were accused of repairing the defense technology that was used by the Gaddafi regime “to eliminate the Libyan people”. The detained claim that they were hired for oil exploration.
