Bialiatski owes Br 143,7 million to tax authorities?
The State Control Committee published an official message for the press about a criminal case againts some “citizen born in 1962”.
Ales Bialiatski's name is not mentioned in this press-release, however, it is stated that on August 4 the financial investigatory bodies started a criminal case under Part 2 Art. 243 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus against the mentioned "citizen".
The pre-investigation checking revealed that the person named in the case filed declarations on incomes and property to the tax authorities, including incomes from abroad, in 2009-2010. However, he declared only a small part of his incomes.
According to the information of the State Control Committee, the sum of non-declared incomes surpassed 1 billion roubles. He was supposed to pay Br 143,7 million of income tax from this sum.
