New solidarity action planned for tonight
It should take place in the Kastrychnitskaya Square in Minsk and in other cities.
The previous action took place yesterday. About 15 people participated in it in Minsk. "European Belarus" coordinator Maxim Vinyarski was detained. It is still unknown whether former political prisoner Vasil Parfyankou was detained or not.
The aim of the solidarity actions is to achieve release of all political prisoners and to support them. Let us remind you, two ex-presidential candidates - Mikalaj Statkevich and Andrej Sannikau - are still in prison.
