Participant of dispersed "Geek-Party": We cannot answer for everyone

A ticket to the "Geek-Party" dispersed by the police cost 150 thousand roubles. You needed to pay the organizers and sign up for the party.

Guys dressed like geeks, girls dressed like dissolute schoolgirls and a lot of alcohol. A nice way to mark the Students' Day. However, Maks, one of the participants, met the police at the entrance.

Before the police arrived

Maks: “They put us against the wall. Somebody had brought some weed. There were a  hundred people at the party - we cannot answer for everyone."

He assures that he knew nothing about the weed and that the first Halloween "American-style" party was a success.

 Maks: “It was organized in a cottage. Everyone wanted to gather again. It was not a "closed party". It was a party for friends and acquaintances. Everyone could come."

The staff of the health centre "Arlyanya" where the Students' Day party was organized did not notice anything bad either. They did not notice any drugs...

“The guard was watching them. Everything was decent. We could not imagine that there could be any drugs," the health centre staff said.

The party has begun

Students are not going to refuse from such parties. They want to invite... the police to the next one.

“Everything will be official, let them stand near the entrance. It would be better than to see a whole bus full of policemen arrive later," say the organizers in Vkontakte.

Brest Province Drug and Human Traffic Prevention Department says that they come to disco clubs every month:  

"We find drugs at discos twice a year. Such cases as this incident in "Arlyanya" are rare."

They added that it is always possible to invite the police to keep the order at disco parties.

Six participants of "Geek-Party" were taking drugs, the police say. There were over a hundred  people there. Most of them were students.
