Statkevich and Us’ judge still on sick leave
Another judge is unlikely to be appointed.
Employees of Minsk Lenin District Court do not know when Lyudmila Hrachova will be able to announce the court’s decision to Mikalai Statkevich, Dzmitry Us and other participants of the Square. The sick judge’s secretary has informed Euroradio about it.
Secretary: “I cannot tell you even the approximate date. You can phone and ask about it every day, it will be okay. However, I cannot tell you when she will able to get down to work – I simply do not know it. I cannot tell you even the approximate date”.
The secretary has also noted that another judge was unlikely to be appointed instead of Lyudmila Hrachova.
Let us remind you that Mikalai Statkevich, Dzmitry Us, Andrei Paznyak, Alyaksandr Klaskouski, Alyaksandr Kvyatkevich, Artsyom Hrybkou and Zmitser Bulanau’s sentences had to be pronounced on May 20. However, the announcement of the court’s decision was postponed due to the judge’s illness which was announced half an hour before the appointed hearing.
