Uladzimir Hamichenka – ninth pardoned political prisoner
Mahilyou colony #9 the convict served his sentence in has confirmed the information to “Vyasna”.
Zmitser Drozd, Artsyom Hrybkou, Syarhei Kazakou, Yauhen Sakret, Vasil Parfyankou, Uladzimir Yaromenak, Vital Matsukevich and Alyaksandr Kvyatkevich were released on August 13. The name of one more pardoned convict remained unknown.
Uladzimir Hamichenka was sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment in a top security colony according to p.2 of art. 293 CC of the Republic of Belarus (participation in mass riots). Let us remind you that Hamichenka was nicknamed “informer” on the Internet. He was suspected of cooperation with the security services.
