Characteristics of the deceased boy from the karate section have been read out at the trial: "He was active, showed no cruelty, achieved good results, well-developed, studied hard, friendly, outgoing, well-bred, never missed classes for no important reason, had many friends, looked neat, was brought up in a single-parent family - the mother, the conditions in the family were comfortable. "

In his turn, the lawyer read out a visual inspection of Andrei Zababura conducted by a psychologist after the incident. According to the conclusion of the psychologist, after the accident his client had a post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, loneliness, guilt, difficulty with perception. The lawyer also said that the accused has two teenage children, his wife is on maternity leave.

By the way, the prosecutor referred to the violations for which the accused was brought to administrative responsibility. Over 13 years of experience in driving he was fined several times, also for driving without a license, and at least twice - for speeding (in particular, at 19 and 23 km / h).

12.48. Next witness in the court - a lady, F. She was sitting behind the wheel in one of the cars parked near the school building. The lady was in the car when the accident happened. she heard the accused screaming. She says that the boys were running around the school.

"I heard screams, went out of the car and saw a boy lying on the pavement. The driver was screaming, he was in shock."

11.55. The expert says that the accused did not break the traffic movement rules, because the tragedy happened not in the road, but at the special traffic passage. Meanwhile, the traffic movement rules are in force only in roads in Belarus.

11.35. The lawyer of defence reads out the results of their expertise. According to them, the driver could see the boy for just 0,3 seconds. This is not enough to react to the change of circumstances. A human can react in approximately 0,5 seconds.

The official expertise states that the driver could see the boy for several seconds, which is enough to react correspondingly and to stop the car.

The lawyer of defense explains these discrepancies by the fact that the investigatory experiment of the traffic police was conducted inaccurately, in particular, with still objects. Meanwhile, it is known that Uladz Hruzdzeu was running after another boy when the car accident happened.

11.17. Alyaksandr Kanaplitski appears in court. This is the expert invited by the lawyer of defense. Kanaplitski is a specialist in auto-technics, has a licence issued by the Ministry of Justice, worked in the traffic police, investigated car accidents for more than 10 years. At yesterday's trial, the lawyer of defense said he distrusted the results of the expertise and the investigatory experiment, conducted with participation of the traffic police. He added that the defense conducted their own expertise with an independent expert and its results refute the official expertise's results.

10.50. Kanstantsin Vyaslou comes to the court. This is the forensic expert who investigated the boy's body. He confirmed that the boy died because of the car accident, not because of falling on the ground. The deceased was standing when the car hit him.

The expert's interrogation was short. The accused does not participate in the trial today - he asked no questions to the witnesses or experts.

10.42. The next witness - К.- could not attend the trial. He is on a business trip to Iran. The judge decided to read out his testimony given during the investigation. 

According to it, the witness was not far from the incident site on that evening. He saw the Porsche Cayenne driver screaming after he ran over a boy. He also informed that the way to the school was blocked by the cars.

There are as many peole in the court as yesterday, about 30 - casualties, their families, teachers, journalists.

10.30. Another underage witness Miraslau Sh. gives evidence (he came to the court with his mother Tatsiana): "We study in the second shift. Usually we are free at 7 p.m. When we walked out of school, we started playing the catch up game... Uladz was also running after someone, I don't remember who it was. I ran round the corner of the school building. Then I saw Uladz running across the traffic road. There was a big black car moving along the road. I saw how Uladz got under the car. He was running straight and the car hit him from the right side, with its front part. After that we ran away...

We shouted during the game. We did not hide behind the cars. They were parked one by one. It was dark outside, there were only lights at some school windows".

10.10. The trial has been resumed. It has started from the interrogation of two more underage witnesses. They are classmates of the deceased boy Uladz Hruzdzeu. The first of them came to the court accompanied by his father.

A boy Raman K. says he studies in the second shift. On the tragedy day there was a parents' assembly at school. He repeats what the boys interrogated yesterday said. He is telling about the catch up game.

"He (Uladz) ran after another boy, and got run over by a car... I saw how this happened... On the road. It was a big car... Uladz was running straight, he did not hide behind the vehicles. There were many cars parked near the school building. The car hit Uladz with its right side. We were frightened and ran away home".

The driver - Andrei Zababura - was interrogated on Monday, as well as the boy's relatives and the witnesses of the tragedy. The accused refused to admit guilt, apart from moral responsibility, which was unexpected for everyone.

Supposedly, an expert for traffic accidents, a traffic police representative and several more witnesses will be interrogated today.

The tragedy happened on November 13, 2012 near school # 23 in Minsk micro-district Sukharava. The Porsche Cayenne driver killed a 9-year-old boy Uladz Hruzdzeu. The case made great fuss in the society. Alyaksandr Lukashenka mentioned it when he ordered to ensure the schools' security. Several Minsk officials were discharged.
