Russian businessman detained in Belarus
He fled from Russia after a road accident that resulted in a young woman’s death.
Russian businessman Nikolai Fyodorov has been detained in Belarus. He is the CEO of Splav-Modernizatsiya enterprise specializing in accessories for the oil, chemical and gas industries in Russia.
The businessman started hiding in Belarus after a road accident that occurred in Veliky Novgorod on March 4. He was driving a Mercedes-Benz when he suddenly entered the median strip and collided with a Hyundai Solaris. The 23-year-old driver of the Hyundai Solaris died.
Belarusian and Russian policemen are considering the extradition of Fyodorov back home.
