Entrepreneurs' leader wants to meet Lukashenka
The leader of entrepreneurs would like to discuss the future of small-size businesses with the president.
Head of the republican association Perspectiva Anatol Shumchanka has made new suggestions about the situation in the small-scale business. He has officially asked Alyaksandr Lukashenka for a personal meeting ‘in order to avoid a situation when it will be impossible to bring back the potential of small-scale business’.
Perspectiva has also prepared a bill that will introduce a new VAT and will help avoid problems caused by inspection certification for private entrepreneurs.
Private entrepreneurs will be able to sell clothes and footwear without certificates until January 1, 2016. It is the main result of Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s meeting with private entrepreneurs in the trade centre Expobel in Minsk on March 17. It will be the last concession made by the authorities for private entrepreneurs, the state leader announced.
However, the VAT will increase thrice in 2015. The exact dates are unknown at the moment.
Entrepreneurs were supposed to be made to sell light industry goods with the Customs Union certificates after March 1. However, the innovation was postponed. The demand to acquire certificates will make their business unprofitable, entrepreneurs believe.
