Situation in Ukraine to be discussed in Minsk today
A round for consultations between the Belarusian and Russian Ministries of Foreign Affairs will be held in Minsk on March 6.
Foreign-policy analysis and planning will be the main topic on the agenda.
The Ukrainian issue will also be discussed, RIA Novosti reports referring to Belarusian MAF press secretary Dzmitry Mironchyk.
A meeting of the Higher Eurasian Economic Council (Belarusian, Kazakhstani and Russian Presidents) was held in Novo-Agarovo near Moscow on March 5. Alyaksandr Lukashenka, Vladimir Putin and Nursultan Nazarbayev discussed the situation in Ukraine. No other details of this part of the meeting have been reported so far.
