Russian parliament seeks to forbid uploading military photos by soldiers
MP Vadim Soloviyeov who heads the legal service of Communist Party suggests that Russian soldiers be banned from uploading their army photos online.
He would like to forbid servicemen to upload photos and videos form military units and military exercises showing military equipment and weapons. The communist is preparing the corresponding bill to add the change to the federal law On Military Service, lenta.ru reports.
Military information that can be accessed by anyone may be used by the western mass media for provocations and is posing a threat to the country’s military security.
Personal correspondence on the Internet will not be forbidden.
Russian soldiers have been uploading numerous photos from Ukraine recently.
