70-year-old man with a previous conviction stole four packs of cookies threatening the shop assistant with a knife. The cookies cost 29 500 roubles (a bit more than 3 dollars).
The thief has been detained. He is facing up to 15 years of imprisonment and property confiscation, Mahilyou police report.
