Ukrainian constitutional reform and Donets Basin election discussed
The details of the negotiations of the political subgroup on Ukraine are unknown at the moment.
The political subgroup on Ukraine gathered in Minsk President-Hotel on July 14. Journalists were not invited there but ONT managed to learn some details. The constitutional reform in Ukraine and elections in ‘DPR’ and ‘LPR’ elections were discussed at the meeting.
The Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada appointed local elections for October 25. The Republic of Crimea and Donetsk and Lugansk Oblasts were excluded form the list.
The results of the meeting in Minsk will be considered at the next meeting of the trilateral contact group OSCE-Russia-Ukraine in Minsk. The group is planning to gather in a week.
