21 graft cases in Hrodna region in April
The record-breaking number -- 21 -- of criminal cases involving graft have been opened in Hrodna region in April 2007.
Among different cases that stand out is the one involving a 43-year-old director of one of the state farms in the Navagrudak district and a former members of the local council. He is charged with having received almost Br4.5 million from two businessmen for approving the land allocation for commercial development.
