Borisovdrev ex-CEO: BT to distort facts
Uladzimir Maltsau is standing trial in Minsk Province Court.
The top manager is accused of power abuse that caused major losses to the state. The losses totalled Br18 billion, investigators reckon.
Judge Valyantsin Verdysh will conduct the hearing. Lawyer Dzmitry Harachka will defend the accused.
State TV channels asked for permission to film the hearing. Maltsau does not really mind it but he thinks that they will pervert the facts and exercise pressure on the judge this way. As a result, it has been forbidden to film the trial, Radio Liberty reports.
