CEC agrees to just one suggestion of human rights activists
It was the suggestion of the leader of the Belarusian Helsinki Committee Aleh Hulak. The Central Election Commission agreed that public associations could nominate their observers even if they don't have branches in that particular places. These are the results of the CEC session which took place on November 5. It is worth mentioning that quite a lot of issues were discussed at the session, starting from organization of election observation ending with televised debates of the presidential contenders. However, none of the suggestions was approved by the CEC members.
