Earthquake in Pakistan, over 200 dead
A 7.8-magnitude quake hits south-western Pakistan on September 24, leaving over 200 dead and at least 373 people injured.
Awaran, Balochistan Privince was affected most, Reuters reports referring to official sources. 90% of all the buildings are destroyed there. Mud houses were damaged most.
The earthquake epicentrum was 66 kilometers away from Awaran. It could be felt in Karachi and in the Indian cities Hyderabad and Delhi.
The earthquake in the Arabian Sea created an island off coast near Gwadar, Lenta.ry reports.
