European Maidan blocks Cabinet, Berkut approaches
Participants of the European Maidan have blocked the main entrance.
About 200 protesters have blocked the roads to the building in Grushevski Street. They demand that Nikolai Azarov’s government should resign and are shouting out traditional Maidan mottoes, liga.net reports.
European Maidan participants did not manage to block the road leading from Sadovaya Street. The roads leading to the building of the Cabinet are blocked by police buses and internal troops there.
There are over 10 big buses with Berkut fighters and solders of the internal troops in the park opposite the Cabinet. The same buses transported Berkut troops responsible for the dispersal of students in Maidan Nezalezhnosti on the night of November 30.
There are 5 Berkut buses in the yard of the building. 8 more buses have blocked Grushevski Street. Police buses keep arriving.
